The Position

We are looking for a passionate quantitative custom researcher at the (Senior) Research Manager/Research Director level who displays both strong analytical and project management skills. Our clients are market leaders in exciting fields such as Media, Entertainment and Technology. We offer the opportunity to develop in areas such as ad hoc research, segmentation, conjoint analysis, communications evaluation, insight panels, brand strategy etc. 

Your responsibilities will consist of end-to-end project management; survey design; supplier management; data analysis and developing client reports/presentations with the support of an Associate Director. the level of responsibility will be guided by your experience. Most important of all you will be working in an environment where your input, creativity and ideas will be highly valued and developed.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Curiosity and drive with 3 plus years experience in ad hoc and/or tracking quantitative research
  • Experience (or strong interest) in working with clients in Media and Technology clients
  • A history of effective management of client and supplier relationships
  • Solid analytical skills (including working experience with Q or SPSS) to convert findings into strategic business recommendations
  • The ability to be a proactive team player and the ability to also work autonomously
  • ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment with a lot of variety
  • Exposure to, and/or interest in new and innovative research methods
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment with a lot of variety and clients in a diverse range of industries.

You should have tertiary qualification in a related discipline such as Business, Statistics, Marketing, Psychology or equivalent.
