Transform your career alongside exciting world-class attractions at Crown Melbourne. We’re searching for a Strategic and engaging leader to join as Head of Marking to lead the Gaming Marketing initiatives, designed at driving growth and revenue.


Reporting to the General Manager Marketing, you will be responsible for the overall performance strategy and development of detailed marketing plans, Marketing Propositions and Campaign Management of Gaming products, ensuring all consideration has been given to the potential revenue lift, associated costs and operational impacts.

 
The Head of Marketing will have an important function in overseeing the personal development of its direct reports. Being a visible leader and ensuring opportunities for growth and professional development are key functions in this role.

 


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing a deep understanding of the Crown member segments and utilising this and key insights gained through research to identify segment opportunities
  • Establish processes where business performance data and analytics is key to determining required actions to drive growth
  • Partner with the Gaming Business Unit  to understand functions/products to meet key objectives for the year ahead
  • Proactively lead, coach and mentor a team of 8 Marketing specialists, overseeing the day to day operations and ensuring a fully accountable customer focused culture
  • Establishing solid relationships and ensuring there are clear communication lines with key stakeholders from across the business
  • Initiating campaign briefs to ensure all relevant stakeholders across marketing are engaged to deliver positive outcomes
  • Delivering the Gaming Marketing Quarterly plan ensuring its design meets all the relevant activity requirements for each Business Unit
  • Uphold and contribute to the established processes in place to ensure the team complies with all regulatory requirements
  • Lead by example and contribute to maintaining a positive team culture and work environment

 

 

To be considered for this role you will be required to demonstrate

  • Demonstrated experience in Customer Segmentation and developing compelling marketing propositions, ideally within a commercial Marketing environment
  • Demonstrated experience understanding, analysing and presenting reports and complex numerical data
  • Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships coupled with strong influence and negotiation skills
  • Ability to identify opportunities in the business to create revenue growth and efficiencies
  • Ability to drive organisational change both within the direct team and across all Business Units and functions
  • Demonstrated experience in organising, developing and leading a high performance team
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication to ensure messages are relevant and “on brand"
  • Demonstrated Senior leadership experience with accountability for a management and P&L delivery
  • Tertiary qualifications in a marketing discipline is preferred, or other equivalent commercial qualifications or experience
