We are currently looking for a SEO Manager to join our team based in our support office in East Bentleigh! We are looking for someone who is keen to do 3 days a week and this is a permanent part time role.

Reporting to the eCommerce Programme Manager, this role is to implement and drive the SEO strategy for Officeworks. The mainly responsible for day-to-day SEO initiatives as well as analysing organic traffic and driving audience growth through organic search channels across all platforms.  

Role responsibilities:

  • Ensure the website is optimised according to the SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) best practices and guidelines
  • Work on a SEO strategy to drive growth in organic traffic and ensure day to day trading is aligned with budgeted sales
  • Support in recommending and implementing SEO initiatives as part of the range review process
  • Conduct keyword research and provide recommendations for title and meta tagging, indexing, link building, keyword ranking, category naming, overall site architecture and other improvements
  • Monitor and analyse site performance and review tracking metrics to provide solutions to improve search engine ranking
  • Research and evaluate new traffic trends and identify new optimisation opportunities
  • Provide SEO data analysis and insights as required
  • Develop strategies for the effective management of designated content portfolios, including thorough product information pages, compelling product collections

Experience required:

  • 3+ years’ experience working in a similar search engine optimisation role
  • Analytical approach to developing SEO techniques and strategies
  • Strong understanding of content optimisation methodology, digital marketing, design
  • Understanding of all web-based tools and experience using content management systems
  • Knowledge of user research methods utilised to inform and assess content and IA decisions
  • Proven analytics experience using Adobe Analytics or similar is a key requirement
  • Working knowledge across HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be well regarded
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, and engage at all levels of the organisation is essential
