Today we provide quality, innovative services for women, including female-identifying and non-binary people, girls and families in the ACT and surrounding regions. We work in the areas of children’s services, community development, housing, youth services, personal and professional training, women’s leadership, and advocacy.
About the Role
As Events and Communications Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering the She Leads program of events – including the She Leads Conference, the She Leads College and High Conferences, the She Leads In-Conversations and the She Leads Workshops
Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Events and Communications Coordinator is a key role within the Communication, Advocacy and Fundraising Team. The role is responsible for the event management and marketing for the She Leads suite of female leadership programs and events, including liaising with sponsors, attendees, suppliers and venue partners.
About You
This rewarding role will suit an experienced events coordinator with a demonstrated ability to meet sales targets. If you are motivated by YWCA Canberra’s work to achieve gender equality and have excellent organisational and project management skills, this role is for you.
