About the role

This is a newly created role to help us with our vision, and it's a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced marketer to be part of something special and support the growth of our brand and market position.

You will be an individual contributor, accountable for building and executing Oreta's marketing strategy, creating a roadmap of partner campaigns and activities, and optimising content and digital advertising channels. You will collaborate with the leadership team to help define the brand narrative and optimise our engagement strategies with partners and clients.

You will have a strong background in marketing, utilising best practices, methodologies and technologies.  A solid understanding of the cloud landscape is required.

What you will do:

  • Build and execute Oreta's overall marketing strategy to support the growth of our brand and market position to align with business objectives
  • Deliver the day-to-day marketing activities for Oreta, including executing digital marketing campaigns through social media, email, and blogs, among other channels
  • Digital strategy - recommend online initiatives to improve SEO and user experience.
  • Work effectively with technology partners on joint go-to market campaigns to accelerate pipeline, share costs and increase exposure
  • Reporting and follow-up – create post campaign reports with learnings and recommendations
  • Brand management - understand and act as an ambassador for the brand and ensure all communications reflect the brand proposition and visual identity across all verticals.
  • Build customer and partner success stories that will underpin sales, marketing and partner recruitment campaigns

Skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field
  • 5-8 years' experience as a Marketing professional working for a mature technology start-up
  • 3 years' Australian in-market experience
  • Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal & presentation) Please do not apply if this is not you)
  • Passionate in leading marketing strategies using innovative approaches and new ways of thinking
  • Strong experience in the digital landscape
  • Ability to actively engage and gain buy-in from stakeholders
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Experience with marketing platforms preferably Pardot or Marketo
  • Work well under pressure
  • Attention to detail, committed to deadlines and highly organised
