Junior Graphic Designer & Marketing Assistant

We are looking for an innovative and creative graphic designer/marketing assistant whose drive and passion will complement our Marketing Team.  You will enjoy working in an exciting, fast paced environment while working under pressure to meet deadlines.  You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including; assisting in the design and development of marketing and design material across print, packaging, digital and social media. Reporting directly to the National Marketing & Brand Manager assisting in a range of marketing projects, new product development and general marketing administration.

           Marketing Responsibilities

• Report directly to the National Marketing & Brand Manager & support the marketing team with the delivery of marketing campaigns
• Assist with the management and update of website & social media content
• Distribute e-marketing communications
• Write creative and smart copy for marketing material and media releases
• Assist with new product development & launches
• Liaise with key stakeholders & suppliers
• Co-ordinate new product development testing
• Assist with quality assurance of products
• Content creation & coordination including photoshoots, events, digital & social media

              Graphic Design Responsibilities

• E-marketing communications
• Flyers and certificates
• Educational Presentations & annual conference and event collateral
• Designing and developing material across print, packaging and electronic media 
• Ensuring our graphics and imagery is maintained throughout print, electronic and other medians
• Ability to produce print ready artwork

             The candidate will have

• Strong communication skills are a must, both written and verbal
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Exceptional attention to detail

                 Preferred skills and experience required

• Proficient skills in Adobe Creative Suite/In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, working in a Mac environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
• A degree or diploma in graphic design or related field
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role

  **Additional requirements advantageous but not essential: Product photography and retouching skills and an interest in filming and video editing.
