The Role

This is your opportunity to provide marketing support to a fun and fast paced team within the Council.  The role is initially for a 12-month term, with the opportunity of a permanent placement. You will support the NSW Commercial Director in the creation of marketing plans and initiatives to support a suite of events.  With a focus on digital marketing activities such as web, eDM, campaigns, and analytics you will also leverage your online and social media skills to add value and generate hype and attention to industry events.  You will also:

  • Provide support in all marketing channels, including the external website, social media, print and email marketing.
  • Develop and publish content and report on the performance of initiatives and campaigns
  • Support all design work, creating and editing publications and other assets across all marketing channels (mainly digital)
  • Develop, execute and manage a marketing plan and more…

Selection Criteria

A true opportunity to put your communication skills, analytical skills and strong attention to detail to work! You will have intimate working knowledge of databases to generating target lists, analysing feedback and report generation to better understand trends.  You will be an autonomous worker who enjoys being meticulous and analytical in their approach. Ideally, you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role
  • Strong digital communications skills  
  • Experience working in HTML and Adobe (i.e. Photoshop Or Indesign) will be highly regarded
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently and as a member of a small team
  • Strong team work ethos and ability to develop rapport with internal and external stakeholders
