We have the opportunity for a commercially focused Pricing Manager who is excited by continuous improvement and working in a fast paced environment.

This role works closely with the Trade Investment and Revenue Manager in optimising the go to market pricing strategy across Grocery, Pharmacy & CBEC channels. Critical to this role will be the implementation of trade strategies in the areas of range, pricing and trade promotions.  A key focus will be pricing strategies, covering both exfactory & in market pricing, to optimise the ROI and financial return to the CHC business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support in the development of the price & promotional strategy by channel by brand and ensure a tailored approach to the top 5 customers
  • Input in NPD/EPD pricing strategy aligned to market conditions and brand strategy to ensure launch success, with strong collaboration with the brand team
  • Involvement in the development of field team pricing & promotional plan by cycle and work closely with the Pricing Analyst to roll out internally including Customer Activation team
  • Co-ordinating key seasonal pricing activations aligned to major commercial calendar activations
  • Working closely with the sales, marketing and broader commercial strategy teams to provide analysis on price and promotional strategy for Sanofi & Competitors
  • Maintain and optimise revenue management models and dashboards that deliver key actionable insights across products

Key criteria for the role:

  • 2-3 years proven experience in Pricing, Category or Trade marketing
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate into how this impacts the business
  • The ability to effectively communicate views and plans with stakeholders
  • Proven ability to anticipate changes in the environment accurately and adapt thinking appropriately
  • Capability to turn data into actionable insights with recommendations
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Marketing or Business Management
  • Experience from within an FMCG or pharmaceutical environment
