A bit about the role

The Head of Product/Technology – Supplier will be responsible for the management, development and delivery of all supplier facing digital platforms, capability and experiences. Working together with relevant digital agencies and I.T. groups, you will define, develop, and evolve full supplier portal functionality and other digital capability, and deliver amazing digital experiences for suppliers. This newly created role will report in to the Technology Platforms Manager, working alongside four other Technology Leads (Customer, Commercial, Team, and CRM) and their wider teams.

Key performance areas of the role include

• Define and deliver world class digital capability and experiences to support effective working relationships with suppliers
• Development and management of the supplier portal, and related supplier integration services
• Developing e-commerce platform capability as a shared platform for both retail and commercial customers, with supplier integration
• Planning a roadmap of digital capability and digital experiences to support suppliers
• Working collaboratively across various business stakeholder groups to ensure digital supplier platform enhancements are aligned to identified business needs
• Management of budgeting, delivery and quality of all technical capability deployed
• Working as part of a wider team to deliver the supply chain business strategy

A bit about you

You inspire, lead and manage teams with a focus on digital experience excellence, and technology capability enhancement in all aspects of your work. Your collaborative and innovative approach enables you to work with stakeholders across all levels to drive team member engagement & digital experience optimisation, adding value back to the business.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• 7+ years experience as a head of product, head of technology or similar managing large scale, business critical supplier digital platforms or similar capability
• Tertiary qualification in a related technology or digital field
• Agile certifications and experience highly regarded
• 5+ years experience managing teams of digital technology professionals and external agencies
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills
• Big picture thinker who is able to plan ahead while also focusing on the ‘now’
