Role Snapshot

The Content Executive reports to the Senior Manager Content and is responsible contributing to the delivery of the Lott’s content strategy, including creating, curating and publishing content. Our success is benchmarked on our ability to maximise exposure and engagement through owned, earned and paid channels, harnessing traditional and non-traditional influencers. 

How you will contribute

Duties will include but not be limited:

  • Assist with the delivery of the content strategy for the Lott by maximising exposure and brand engagement across the entire portfolio
  • Create, curate and edit content and deliver a content calendar that aligns to the Lott’s content strategy
  • Ensure content is fit for purpose, appropriate for our audiences, adheres to regulatory requirements, and maximises integrated channels
  • Under the direction of the Senior Manager Content, create engaging content that develops and grows each brand’s unique persona and is consistent with each brand’s purpose and vision
  • Develop content to engage and grow the target audiences for each brand to support their commercial goals 

Our Ideal Person

To be a success in this role you will have excellent communication skills with a proven ability to identify and articulate interesting and engaging content angles.  With your creative flair you can create engaging pieces of content for a broad range of owned and earned channels, particularly written content.  Your passion for staying on top of the latest industry trends and a nose for engaging content and stories will see you flourish in this role.

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in content development, copy writing and professional proofing
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Communications or related field is essential
  • Knowledge of best practice content principles for web, social and email marketing and a great working knowledge of SEO
  • Video editing capabilities desirable
  • Demonstrated understanding of the application of communications theory and practice in providing support in a broad functional environment
  • Demonstrated experience delivering brand communications and content creation, and the role these play supporting business initiatives
