The Role:

We are recruiting an Events Coordinator for our Victorian division in Melbourne. Reporting to the VIC/TAS Events Manager, the role will involve designing, coordinating and promoting all aspects of our events. Tasks includes booking venues and speakers, organising catering, audio visual and developing run sheets and marketing collateral, all in line with allocated budgets.

Our high-profile events are a vital component to our commercial success and vary from breakfasts and lunches to sporting events and gala dinners.

About You:

You will have at least 3 years’ experience in an events role or within an events environment, ideally with a background in coordinating multiple events at the same time which generate revenue.

You will be a hard worker and be confident in learning new systems and programs. You will be a quick thinker and have a strong commercial awareness, along with the ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines. Importantly, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the confidence to deal directly with people of all levels, plus a positive 'can-do' work attitude - ready to take on challenges!

A flair for marketing as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Creative are desirable. Qualifications in events, marketing or design will also be highly regarded.
