The Defiant Duck and Hatch & Co.are looking for an experienced, confident and genuine individual to take over all functions and events within both venues. The successful candidate will be someone who is outgoing, highly organised, committed to succeed and driven to see an enquiry become a memorable event.
The successful applicant therefore will possess the following attributes:
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience in generating leads, increasing sales and establishing return business to ensure continued business growth
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple enquiries at a time
- Can-do/ flexible attitude and able to contribute to a great team environment
- Someone who is innovative and creative, has excellent verbal and written communication skills and is well versed in Microsoft Office
- Diverse experience in planning and enjoy creating a variety of events such as small to large group celebrations and events, product launches, corporate events, birthdays, engagements and offsite catering.

- The right candidate will be well-presented, highly organised and professional with a passion for the hospitality industry and people
- Show enthusiasm as well as engaging personality, and warmly gain the long term trust of our clients.
