This role is accountable for managing the prioritization and delivery of the Vitality program of ‘Out of Cycle’ program enhancements and small to medium BAU projects, including program oversight of strategic projects delivered through the AIA Australia Project Management Office (PMO) using a structured governance approach and relevant project management methodologies, whilst delivering on time and within budget.
The role will develop a credible and respected business partnership with key business stakeholders, both in MVP, and the broader organization and will develop strong insight into the business unit’s strategic plan, operating plan, the contribution the portfolio of projects is making to these plans.
This role is based at our Head Office – 509 St Kilda Road, Melbourne 3004 (Corner of Commercial Rd and St Kilda Road)
Minimum/preferred Job Requirements:
- Total Experience of 8+ years large scale project, program or delivery management
- Experience in forming and leading successful teams of up to 20 people across diverse business areas, experience, and locations
- Proven ability in leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver against an agreed business delivery roadmap and budget
- Experience in end to end management of IT components with medium to high complexity and integration points
- Strong understanding of all relevant project methodologies and processes (Agile, Waterfall, SDLC, Six Sigma etc) and ability to identify and utilise key tools and processes to ensure project delivery success
- Evidence based demonstration of professional growth and career development
- Financial services knowledge is preferred but not a pre-requisite
- Relevant Tertiary qualification in Business, Project Management, Information Systems or Engineering disciplines an advantage
