A rapidly expanding financial services business who are changing the way consumers shop for finance products are seeking a bright, finance loving PR specialist to join their growing Sydney office.
  
THE COMPANY

As the market leader in their field, this company educate and empower consumers by providing them with most up to date information and data to help take ownership of their financial decisions. In this newly created role, you will work as part of the supportive and collaborative PR team. You will be given the creative freedom to grow and progress the role whilst having access to some of the best mentors in the business.
  
THE ROLE

Reporting into the PR manager this exciting role will see you:

• Work with key Spokespeople, Research, Editorial, Digital and Distribution teams to bring story ideas and data to life
• Pitch relevant features to key personal finance, fintech and business media as well as bloggers and influencers
• Maximise online coverage, amplification and links
• Build on your existing strong media relationships and be the go to expert on who is who in the media world
• Support with PR and event management for meet ups and marketing activities 

YOU

So who could be a good fit for the role? We are looking for someone with:

• A degree in PR, Communications, Journalism or a related business/finance qualification
• Minimum 3 years experience in PR/media
• Experience working with finance clients through an agency, in-house at a bank or a financial institution or as a finance reporter
• Excellent writing skills and a passion for producing newsworthy, creative and unique content
• A love of data and the ability to analyse and interpret data effectively
