Fluid Recruitment is seeking a Mandarin speaking intermediate or senior chartered accountant in Christchurch. The successful candidate will have the necessary Chinese language skills to be able to effectively connect with the firm’s client base.
The client seeks to attract a high calibre candidate who can bring not only technical competency and knowledge, but also add a valuable contribution to the team environment.

About the Role
As client contact will be paramount, your communication and presentation skills will be of the highest standard. Your specialist language skillset will be highly valuable in building and developing client relationships for the firm. It will suit someone looking to make the next step in their CA career and take on more senior level responsibilities.
Duties
- Annual Financial Statements
- GST and Tax Returns
- Preparation of Client Advisory documents
- Facing clients
- Supporting other team members
Skills and Experience
- Relevant degree or formal qualification
- Some previous experience within a New Zealand CA firm
- Mandarin language skills - ideally experience with a predominantly Chinese client base
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and functions, and knowledge of NZ tax law
- Strong communication, literacy and digital skills
