This newly created opportunity is ripe for the picking! Our client, one of NZ's largest employers is at the forefront of retail and offers a very real career path for those looking for challenge, advancement and growth.
The corporate office is based in Mangere, you will work alongside a Senior Finance Business Analyst and be a part of a team of 6 Analysts. This is a business partnering role where communication, listening and negotiation are key to your success. You and will provide financial, analytical and business support to the division to help improve financial performance. Key responsibilities will include:
- Analyse and present weekly and monthly management reporting
- Prepare sales and gross profit forecasts, budgets and targets
- Reporting of trends, risks and opportunities
- Provide advice and support to Senior Management on financial results and budgeting
- Liaise with merchandise team and financial control on key issues
- Provide training to business team regarding KPIs
What do you need?
You will be an experienced accounting professional with a proven financial analysis background. You will have strong IT skills including strong excel knowledge. Your ability to communicate, negotiate and influence others is key as is a curious/investigative nature. Ideally you will have work in retail or an organisation with multiple sites. This role is suited to someone that is keen to grow their career in the area of finance business analysis and partnering.
