We are looking for a competent intermediate to senior business services accountant with a minimum of 2-3 years current NZ CA experience in the field
Depending on your level and experience, you will be either tertiary qualified and studying towards your CA designation (preferably in the final stages of your studies) or fully CA qualified.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, outstanding verbal and written communication skills and a good potential to develop further and step up into a more senior role in the medium term are essential requirements.
This is a multi-faced tole and some of the main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of year-end financial statements
- Monthly reporting
- Budgeting, forecasting and Cashflow analyses
- Managing client assignments
- Systems advisory
- Tax compliance
- Value-add projects
- Other ad hoc tasks
Our ideal candidate will have Big 4 or mid-tier experience (NZ CA experience is a must for this role!). Previous experience with NZ IFRS reporting is essential at the upper end of the range for this role.
