We process over 500 million litres of milk a year and produce a wide range of dairy ingredients and products.
We're looking for a Management Accountant reporting directly to the Finance Controller. You will assist in the delivery of monthly management reporting for the Westland Milk Products parent to the Financial Management team, the Senior and Executive Leadership teams and the Board.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Alignment and creation of monthly parent management reporting
- Fixed asset transactions and CAPEX approvals and process monitoring, and accuracy of the register
- Development, generation, and delivery of monthly internal department/cost centre reporting
- Provide business support and advice to internal departments
- Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of Milk Suppliers payments
- Build, maintain and promote effective relationships with key external service providers
- Assist internal staff with accounting-based queries
- Undertake other duties as directed by the Financial Controller in a timely and accurate manner
What you'll need to succeed:
- Hold a Finance qualification (CA qualification desirable)
- Management Accountant experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools with experience in multiple cost centres
- Sound knowledge of accounting systems
- Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
- A flexible and enthusiastic approach
- High level of attention to detail
