RCR Energy Ltd is the technology leader in thermal energy plants and service solutions in New Zealand. This exciting role in the Proposal Engineering team will be pivotal to the business by providing existing and new customers with winning technical solutions using RCR Energy’s products and services.
This role is based out of our Napier office. Napier has a lot to offer to people looking for something different – travel, adventure, great weather, friendly relaxed communities and an unmatched lifestyle.
The successful applicant will be required to enter the RCR Energy Graduate Engineering Programme to develop skills that will enable you to:
- Provide Front End Engineering Design (FEED) to enable technical solutions to be developed to meet customer requirements
- Develop and use technical calculation tools for sizing and costing of energy plant, components and prediction of plant performance
- Manage tender and bid projects
- Prepare and collate professional tender and proposal submissions including the planning and management of supporting information
- Ensure all legal and commercial terms are adhered to
Desirable skills and experience for the position include
- A tertiary qualification in engineering or technology in a Process-focused discipline
- A very high standard of communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Excellent people interaction skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
