Excellent opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to grow and develop within this esteemed consultancy

This is a well-known multi-disciplinary consultancy who have been running in the local NZ market for over 30 years. They have two offices nationwide, and are highly regarded for their work within the civil, geotechnical, environmental and water sectors. Due to increased workload in their Takapuna office they are now to add a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to the team.

You can expect to be working across a wide variety of projects, from small to large scale commercial and residential developments through to slope stability remediation and lake or dam design. Your responsibilities will be varied and will include site investigation and monitoring, design and data analysis, client liaison, fee proposals and tender submissions as well as report preparation and presentations.

To be considered for this role you will need the following:

• A Bachelor of Engineering and a minimum of 8 years consulting experience in the NZ market
• Proven experience working across a variety of geotechnical projects and exposure to all phases of these projects
• Ability to manage projects and mentor junior members of staff as required
• Solid decision-making skills and confident presenting to internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent English communication skills and a great sense of humour
