We’re looking for an experienced qualified NZ structural engineer to join our busy team based out of Auckland (there may be a need, at a later stage to relocate to Taranaki).
We are a well-established business with strong ties in commercial construction since 1972.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A fully qualified structural engineer. Qualification must be in NZ Geotech, and cold roll steel experience would be an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of key engineering software programmes
- Good knowledge of NZBC & construction process; And an understanding of the building consent processes and council planning in New Zealand
- Versatility and confidence dealing with professionals, trades, authorities and clients
- Qualifications including the following.
- BE(Hons)
- CPEng
- MIPENZ
- High quality technical skills, coupled with a high level of presentation and quality of plans
- NZ work visa or NZ residency
