The Job
Our Shared Services Centre is looking for an Accounts Receivable Administrator to join the Transactions team on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role will require you to provide effective administrative support to the Transactions team using mostly your accounts receivable skillset, however accounts payable knowledge would be very beneficial too. Key accountabilities will include:
- Validate and investigate customer payments to ensure they are receipted and allocated correctly
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers and vendors
- Reconcile customer and vendor accounts
- Support continuous improvement of Transaction tasks within the business
The Candidate
Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, customer focused and able to manage a varied workload. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar Accounts Payable/Receivable role
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures
- General understanding of office administration within a large organisation
- A degree of computer literacy with competence across all Microsoft suites
- Good organisational and time management skills, ability to prioritise tasks in line with team output requirements
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Flexibility with working hours
- Team player and dedication to customer service
