We are proud to be partnering with one of the fastest growing CA firms in Canterbury. Based in central Christchurch our client sits in the Mid-Tier category in terms of size with 4 Directors and over 35 staff in total. However they are consistently growing their fee base allowing for further expansion.
Their focus is simple, putting the client first and really working hard on developing strong working relationships that add-value. They invest heavily in training and infrastructure and make sure to really look after their employees, so have developed an excellent culture and working environment also.
This role will suit an ambitious, savvy qualified CA with post qualified practical experience who is wanting to progress further in this sector. A progression plan will be put in place to enable this to happen and clear guidelines of what needs to be achieved to enable you to reach a Management position in the long term.
The role as it currently stands is for an Experienced Senior Accountant however and you will be responsible for providing compliance, financial management and business planning services to a range of complex clients - including Medical, Technology based, Exporters, Property, Health, Manufacturing and HNW individuals.
Strong communication skills are also a must as this is a client facing role where getting out on site is encouraged and working with businesses to help them achieve their overall business objectives. As such commercially minded and IT savvy are also key benefits.
