The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) is a government agency whose purpose is to mobilise New Zealanders to be world leaders in clean and clever energy use.
A strategic focus area for EECA is productive and low emissions business. There are significant opportunities for businesses to increase their energy productivity and use of sustainable energy.
Our Market Engagement group works with large energy users, and the opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager to join our team in Wellington. A focus of the role is building and developing relationships with key clients and stakeholders, and enabling results focused outcomes. As well as relationship management, the Account Manager will be responsible for providing technical support to businesses and to other account managers, along with our programme development team, in the area of process heat specifically with large industrial businesses.
You will help to mobilise decision makers in energy intensive businesses to undertake energy and carbon savings projects. You will work with our programme partners to provide trusted advice within your client portfolio.
You will work closely with other members of the wider EECA team to overcome barriers and resistance to change. You will have an extensive background in account management, with energy sector experience, preferably within the industrial context. This is your chance to contribute to improvements which will benefit all of New Zealand.
