The Opportunity
 
We are seeking a Customer Focused, Fast Thinking, Compassionate, and professional candidates to join an innovative, fast-growing, highly skilled team of Emergency Assistance Coordinators in a company boasting a great team environment, a fantastic culture, and benefits!
 
A global expert in emergency, travel and insurance assistance, this company is at the forefront of the industry and internationally recognized as being instrumental in assisting corporate and leisure travellers to manage health-related incidents. When things hit the fan medically or from a security perspective, travellers call their Health Insurer for help and it is our client who delivers that help (not the insurance company). 
 
Their business continues to grow domestically and internationally. In this role, you would be a key part of a highly skilled team of representatives taking on 4 x 10 hour shifts on weekly basis (alternating day/night shifts as required), coordinating emergency calls from all over the world and directing emergency evacuations, medical cases, and travel assistance requirements by guiding the call through the process and putting together a case plan together with your team of medical experts to deliver supreme service to the traveller in need.
 
What are we looking for?
 
To be honest, a person who is well travelled, understands the challenges of leisure and or corporate /business travel, may even have had a reason to call your travel insurer for service like those we describe. Furthermore, you will be computer literate and manage to type while talking on the phone, importantly, be able to work collaboratively with a dedicated team of professionals.
 
You may well have experience working for another assistance company, work in a medical center or medical facility and be responsible for triaging activities of care, work in an travel insurance company and worked with assistance companies as a part of your role. All of the above is desirable, or quite simply, you have a passion to care and help, you have good administration and coordination skills and feel your reliability and attitude are key differentiators when you look at your peers.
