The role:
The purpose of the Data, Analytics and Insight team is to deliver information and insight that enable better decision making; our focus is to continue to evolve the services and depth of information providing across different functions within Countdown. The SQL Developer is responsible for the maintenance of existing SQL data flows, building and maintaining Alteryx workflows, building and maintaining Tableaus dashboards and building tools to assist in replenishment decisions. Specifically this will mean:
- Mapping complicated datasets and building robust workflows allowing other team members to consume data in their dashboards and other tools.
- Providing data and insights and translating this into easy to consume information, and intuitive visualisation tools.
- Working with our key business owners to highlight potential process improvement opportunities.
- Developing and maintaining highly engaged relationships with internal and external stakeholders
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Very strong SQL skills, ideally in the Retail sector-or other large scale environment
- Experience in translation of complicated data set to intuitive business solutions
- Indepth Alteryx knowledge and the ability to simplify existing workflows
- Data Visualisation ability with Tableau
- Exposure to VBA
- Excellence stakeholder management and people skills
