Join our ICT Service Desk and provide national support and service to the business on a 4 day on 4 day off roster.

St John is at the frontline of medical response, providing Ambulance Services throughout New Zealand. We're also part of a much broader picture of health care, through our provision of first aid training, event medical services, AEDs (defibrillators), first aid kits and supplies, medical alarms, youth groups and a wide range of community programmes.

As a Service Desk Analyst you will be responsible for providing first level incident and service request support to St John members.

Duties include:

  • Providing an ideal customer experience
  • Fault identification and/or resolution,
  • Escalation to appropriately skilled peers
  • Undertaking move/add/change activities
  • Controlling and administering hardware and operating software configurations
  • Monitoring devices for proper operation and performance
  • Applying vendor-provided maintenance to devices
  • Detecting, diagnosing and correcting device operational failures

You will work rostered shifts comprising 12 hours on a 4 days on 4 days off basis. We operate a 24/7 service so you will need to be prepared to work any shifts within this period.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • An ICT background which includes confidence with the MS suite and mobile devices
  • Experience with Active Directory will be an advantage
  • An aptitude for troubleshooting
  • The ability to absorb new information quickly and work autonomously

We are looking for someone who has strong problem solving and analytical skills, can build effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders and is a confident communicator. You will be collaborative by nature, be able to quickly adapt to change and have a genuine desire to be part of a busy and hardworking team.
