New Zealand’s largest distributor of IT products is currently seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with a flair for designing quality solutions for complex workloads utilising the Lenovo portfolio of servers, storage and hyperconverged solutions.
Working alongside a dedicated and driven team, you will deliver value by providing technical expertise in designing solutions, leveraging the strength of the Lenovo product portfolio. This will include technical partner enablement, pre-sales calls, post-sales guidance and supporting the continued growth and success of the Lenovo data centre business for Ingram Micro NZ.
As a valued member of our technical team you will also co-ordinate, facilitate and deliver technical training and roadmaps for our business partners across the channel.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
- Technical pre-sales - assisting in qualifying sales leads from a technical perspective.
- Provide complex solution design incorporating Lenovo product portfolio advice in sales calls.
- Provide post-sales technical assistance to business partners.
- Deliver detailed, certification-level product training and briefings in a classroom environment to our broad base of channel partners.
- Cross vendor collaboration, leveraging Ingram Micro’s large infrastructure vendor portfolio to deliver complete heterogeneous solutions.
- Provide detailed technical and complex quote configuration support.
- Forecasting and competitive analysis.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum 3+ years’ technical and solutions based experience across server, storage and hyperconverged technologies.
- A background in pre-sales with proven ability to sell, promote and educate on high business value solutions.
- Technical certification and real-world experience in Lenovo or similar infrastructure brand.
- Excellent communication capability, with strong persuasion and presentation skills.
- A collaborative and consultative approach, able to translate concepts into working solutions to deliver on key business objectives.
- A strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non- technical/business people.
