About Our Team
The Client and Business Intelligence (CBI) team assembles, wrangles, analyses and visualises data from many sources, using a wide range of propriety and open source tools and algorithms, to guide and improve MSD’s business operations.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is inquisitive, proactive and driven to deliver new ideas. You'll have a track record of identifying clever solutions to business problems, building 'proof of concept' products and then moving them into production to deliver value.
In order to succeed in this role you will have a combination of:
- A post graduate qualification in computer science, statistics, physics, mathematics or a related discipline or equivalent related experience.
- Experience in machine learning and advanced analytics using R or Python, as well as experience working with SQL.
- Communication skills to champion your methods to both technical and non-technical audiences and mentor others effectively.
- The ability to find the best tool or method for each task and learn new ones on the fly.
Experience with cloud computing, big data tools, continuous integration, or strong visualisation skills would also be an advantage, but are not prerequisites for the role.
