The role

Information Systems at BDO provides services that include systems scoping, process reviews, systems presentation, implementation, training, support and custom report writing.
This is a growth area in Christchurch and we are looking for someone with drive to work with us to grow the Information Systems service offering.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Identifying valuable opportunities for both our consulting team and BDO.
- Leading engagements from start to finish and within established budgets that produce quality results.
- Implementation, training and support.
- Custom report writing, database management and model development.
- PowerBI expertise and ability to provide consulting solutions for clients.
- Solid understanding of SQL and agile development practises to enable the smooth systems integration within a business system.
- Managing expectations positively and aligning a delivery pipeline to targets.
- Assisting with project management of large IS implementations and reviews.
- IS System audit experience.
- Carrying out business process reviews and IS due diligence and discovery engagements.
- Implementation, training and support of MYOB Advanced and/or other tier tax systems.
- Presenting to senior management with findings.
- Supporting the Head of IS in developing the IS consulting division at BDO including participation in recruitment, development, engagement, and achievement of set targets for all IS team members.
