The Role

We are looking for a talented full-stack Java developer to extend the support team. You will have a broad development background, across all the latest tools and languages, but will also have a solid grounding in JEE.

This is an opportunity to be involved with the development and implementation of new features and new projects. Working with other developers you'll tackle these in agile teams in a fun, relaxed culture with a focus on teamwork, quality, and innovation.

We are looking for the following:

Good understanding of Enterprise application design patterns, including Microservices and industry best practices
Strong problem solving and communication skills and ability to contribute to architectural discussions
Ability to quickly learn and pick up new technologies
Strong experience on core open source technologies: Java, SQL, HTML, Javascript (Node.JS), Python
Familiarity with good service oriented frameworks (e.g. SpringMVC, SpringBoot)
Good understanding of data stores (e.g. relational, NoSQL, static) and good understanding of when to use what
Proven track record of building, deploying and looking after production grade software solutions using modern delivery systems and source control (e.g. Logging, Caching, Security, Monitoring, CI/CD)
Experience in continual business process improvements through incremental changes (DevOps)
Public Cloud exposure (e.g. cloud native architecture on AWS/Azure) is a bonus
Exposure to Containerisation and working at the Operating System level (e.g. scripting on Unix/Linux/Windows)
