Intermediate - Senior .Net Developer | Application Support

The Role

Our Managed Services team within our software division is looking for someone with a broad development background to join our Application Support team. Ours is a close-knit, highly capable team that support as well as enhance complex, enterprise applications for a variety of high-profile NZ customers.

A typical day will see you:

Rapidly learning new applications and technologies as new systems are added to the Application Support team
Organising and prioritising work, being proactive, taking initiative, resolving problems, following through, and simultaneously managing multiple priorities to ensure goals are met in a timely manner
Identifying and resolving issues within Service Level Agreement timeframes
Designing and estimating changes and updates
Developing enhancements, functionality and fixes to best practice standards.
Unit Testing; System Test/Integration Testing Support
Maintaining System Documentation
On-call rotation within the support team to provide 24/7 Client Support

The Person

3+ years’ experience working on IT projects across multiple phases of the SDLC.
Good written and oral customer facing communication.
Team player, enjoy working collaboratively.
Must be able to anticipate and proactively handle issues.
Must be excellent at personal task management and follow through.
Expert level knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsot stack technologies
Strong knowledge of .Net, experience creating and consuming web services, familiar with integration tools from IBM.
Strong SQL Development experience and exposure to the Microsoft BI Stack is essential
Experience with full stack web and middleware applications.
