ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a permanent role that sits within the Consulting Team. You will be working in both hands-on and customer facing: responding to client requests, dealing with day-to-day BAU changes, break-fix engineering, and assisting our senior network architects to design and implement solutions
It would best fit a Mid to Senior Level Network and Security Engineer with experience in network and security fields. The is a customer facing role so you must be comfortable representing the client to the customers and will be well presented.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strong experience with firewall and security platforms.
- Excellent knowledge of networking technologies, switching, routing, routing protocols, firewalls, load balancers, security principles, VPN technologies, and network monitoring tools.
- Hands on experience with major vendor network equipment such as: Cisco, HP, Junos, Aerohive, Aruba, or F5.
- Experience supporting large scale enterprise deployments.
- Experience with Linux (especially in the networking stack including iptables, bridging, and SDN) is also a distinct advantage.
- Ability and motivation to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team
- Excellent communication skills
