Are you looking for a graduate position with room for progression and growth? Do you have a background or interest in logistics and supply chain? This is the opportunity for you! Our client is a key distributor of steel to a range of industries throughout New Zealand and they are looking for a recent graduate to come on board in a logistics coordinator role.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate, input and monitor shipping schedules and imported order flows
- Ensure the smooth co-ordination of inwards goods from ports to the distribution centre
- Build relationships with the service and product suppliers to ensure enhanced service satisfaction for their sites
- Contribute to the strong team based culture
- Liaise with the warehouse and sales team to ensure strong and accurate communication is being communicated to customers
The ideal candidate will:
- Ideally have experience in customer service
- Have the ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a degree or alignment with supply chain/logistics – this is not necessary, but preferred
- Possess outstanding organization and coordination abilities
