A leading shelving company based in East Tamaki is looking for a technically minded sales support person to back up their sales and project management team. The focus is on sales administration and assisting and facilitating the smooth roll out of projects. The potential to develop your skills and experience is limited only by your own ambition and aptitude. It may suit a commercially minded design graduate who wants a career in Sales
Specific responsibilities will encompass order processing, coordinating deliveries to site, assisting with quoting and pricing, assisting with the preparation of drawings, liaising with clients and suppliers, general administration work and ad hoc duties as required. No task is too big or small and what needs to be done has to be done - a flexible and adaptable approach is essential !
Suitable candidates will ideally have demonstrated experience in a sales support role. You will need intermediate Excel skills and a good knowledge of computerised systems. Strong numerical skills are essential as is a well organized and practical approach to getting tasks achieved efficiently. Exposure to plan drawings, quoting and measure ups will be a bonus. A strong commitment to customer service is important and you will need a positive and proactive approach to fit into a dynamic and busy environment.
