Who you will be helping

Let’s set the scene: It is 8pm on a warm summer night and you’re finally arrive home after a long week, time to relax. Suddenly, you hear a loud crash and hear people screaming. You peek out to see vehicles and a number of people on the roadway outside your property. You grab your cell phone and sprint out towards the roadway. You quickly dial 111 and ask for the Police.

Now think about what you need to hear from the person at the other end of the line, you need someone who will get help to you as quickly as possible, ask the right questions and remain calm for you. Is this you?

This not your average call centre, customer service role. Every call is different. Our training will ensure you have the knowledge, skills and support to deal with situations like this.

We need people that are motivated to help people within our communities to ‘Be Safe and Feel Safe’.

The must haves:

  • New Zealand Citizen, Australian Citizen or a New Zealand Resident
  • Ability for you and your immediate family to pass security and background checking
  • Reliable transport to get to and from work (Wellington Central based)
  • Typing speed of 40 words per minute (or more) with at least 96% accuracy
