Our client is a privately held, multi-generational FMCG company that has a strong vision and equally high-end product range gaining real momentum here in New Zealand and offshore.  With growing consumer appetite for their products and increasing volume of activity into and through customer service, we are now on the lookout for a Customer Service Manager to join them in Napier at HQ. 

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this hands-on role will see you actively involved in the day to day CS functions.  Your focus will be on ensuring absolute excellence in relation to coordinating customer order requirements from point of enquiry through to quoting, ordering, credits, product complaints and solving any product query issues. Juggling multiple administrative tasks and documentation will require a detailed approach and considering the nature of this business, you’ll be comfortable with learning technical detail and some specifications.  You’ll also need a proactive, team based approach with a focus on continuous improvement to get the best out of the systems around you.

To win this role, you must be able to demonstrate a positive attitude, professionalism, high level of accuracy and commitment to process and service delivery.  You may be in a production or manufacturing company or where you are taking responsibility for customer order through to delivery, either way, we are open-minded to what industry you come from, but you’ll be known for your non-nonsense and engaging manner, being ‘calm under pressure’ and as someone who leaves a positive impression on all those you come in contact with.  Computer proficiency in Word and Excel is essential.
