We're on a mission to delight every person that walks into one of our branches. As a Solutions Assistant, you'll be one of the first people our customers meet, and by working with your team mates you will help make life easier for them and do your bit to put a smile on our customers' faces.

Although this isn't a banking job, it could be a fantastic first step on a career path into banking. Our Solutions Assistants focus on the postal side of our business, helping customers learn about and take advantage of all the options our branches have to offer. This could be through processing post and payment transactions, such as buying a stamp through to processing a passport application.

You'd be amazed at how broad this role is and how much variety you'll experience every day. But don't worry, we'll give you all the training and support you need to be a success. This job offers you the chance to be proactive, to get out from behind the counter and engage people, identify their needs and point them in the right direction. That might be mean referring them on to one of your colleagues for more specialist help.

What's it going to take to be a success in this job? Well, we're looking for someone with lots of customer service experience and an attitude where nothing is too much trouble. You could come to us from a retail sales role, the hospitality industry or any environment where outstanding customer service is essential. The more time you've spent helping customers face to face and going the extra mile for them, the better.

Hours for this role are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8.15am to 5.15pm and Friday 12.45pm to 5.15pm totaling 28.5 hours per week. This is a fixed-term role.
