Genesis are on the hunt for Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), based in a brand new state of the art building in Hamilton. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door at Genesis and accelerate your career in customer service. On the job training is provided and you'll join a supportive team where learning and career development is encouraged.

Here at Genesis we're striving to be New Zealand's first choice for energy management and to do this, we need bright, energetic and motivated CSRs to join our back-office customer service teams. We're hiring people who are dependable to their core and who have the grit and tenacity to show up and work hard even when the going is tough. Our CSRs play a critical role at Genesis, providing outstanding customer service to our valued customers; some of the things you'll be working on or chatting to customers about include payments and billing, new connections and switching, meter reading enquiries, investigating complex customer enquiries and much more.

To service our customer needs you must be prepared to work between the hours of 8am and 5.15am (Monday to Friday) and one late fortnight until 8pm. Additionally, it's essential you have outstanding verbal communication skills, great attention to detail, and enjoy building trusting relationships. Ideally you'll have some customer service experience but we'd also love to hear from you if you have a positive, proactive, customer first attitude.
