Company
This is an exciting opening for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join a company specialising in the manufacturing of building supplies for both the residential and commercial sectors.
  
Role
You will be responsible for the management and coordination of all customer service calls within New Zealand. You will process a variety of customer service orders and tasks from logging service calls from clients, sales orders, part orders, invoice and account queries through to inventory / ordering coordination. You will be part of an existing and efficient team which works autonomously yet supports each other across a variety of projects and tasks.
This is a permanent position.
  
Responsibilities
The role is a busy and diverse one including the following:
  • Phone and email contact with clients, colleagues and suppliers
  • Accurate and efficient data entry and some numerical calculations
  • The ability to solve problems, work independently and show initiative
  • Be highly organised and able to multi-task in order to reach deadlines
  • Be able to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English
  • Daily use of MS Office, including Excel Spreadsheets and an in-house program (training provided)
  • Be happy to provide excellent, professional customer service to a wide range of people in different sectors
 Experience
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Organised, reliable and strong communication
  • The ability to prioritise, multi-task and coordinate.
  • Great communicator with customers and team members.
  • Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Driven and motivational personality with a great sense of humour
  • Strong work ethic and team player
  • Competent in Microsoft office - Word and Excel
