The veterinary industry is changing continually, our equipment is state of the art and many of our services and products are innovative and ground breaking. We proudly provide these nationwide in modern vet clinics alongside rural and urban communities. To help us to continue to do this and maintain our market leading position, we are looking for an experienced Companion Veterinarian to roll up their sleeves and join our Leeston clinic.
This is a fixed term position based mainly at our Leeston clinic for approximately 8 months while an employee is on leave with the potential to turn into a permanent role in the future to work at our Lincoln and Leeston Clinics. The successful applicant will work 20 to 30 hours per week with the possibility of additional hours. We require a flexible Veterinarian who can work at our Lincoln clinic, if required.
To succeed in this role you will have:
- 1 – 5 year’s veterinary experience (mixed animal experience would be an advantage)
- You should be organised self-motivated, enjoy learning on the job if need be and have a positive 'can do' attitude
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A strong customer service ethic
