Summary
Are you the support worker we are looking for? Someone who is passionate about supporting people on their recovery journeys? If so, then keep reading.
We are looking for someone to fill our permanent awake night shift position working 24 hours a week in our Crisis Respite residential service. The shift is Thursday, Friday and Saturday working from 11.00pm to 7.30am
As a support worker you will be providing support for service users throughout the evening, as well as being there to provide any support needed during the night. While the people you support are asleep, you will be kept busy with other tasks like cleaning and supporting the day shifts with maintaining things like filing, first aid kits, emergency kits and preparation of paperwork.

The Team
You’ll be reporting to the Team Coach and joining our Pathways team who all have the common purpose to support people experiencing mental illness.
You
If you have a caring nature, work in a recovery focused way, are able to provide medication support and have impeccable attention to detail then we would love to hear from you.
- You must hold a current full driver’s licence
- Do you hold a current first aid certificate or are you willing to obtain one
- Applicants must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent or be currently studying towards this qualification or a recognised equivalent.
- You’re a communicator - the sort of positive person who loves working with people
- Able to be flexible and available for varying shifts
