Supply Chain – Procurement officer

Key elements:

• Food Science Degree (or equivalent degree in a science discipline)
• Excellent in supplier relationship development, contract negotiation, supplier’s performance management, logistics, market research in identifying potential new suppliers or new materials for products development and analyzing supply & demand trend
• Excellent coordination skills with suppliers and internal teams
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for various markets and strong quality or business acumen.
• Strong drive to achieve targets & objectives on time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills – multilingual is an added advantage
• Proven ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks and meeting timelines while under pressure
• High attention to detail, positive solution focused attitude, with good analytical skills

Job Scope:

• Assist sales & technical teams to acquire necessary documentation from suppliers
• Support and assist inbound logistics activity and other supply chain tasks, to ensure smooth operations along the Supply Chain
