We have an exciting opportunity for a confident, customer-centric person to join our friendly team in Auckland. As a Customer Service Representative, you are a key point of contact for our clients, providing them with timely and professional support at all stages of the shipping process.

The role of customer service representative will see you:

  • Responding to and actioning customer requests via email & phone for inbound cargo, including change of destinations
  • Handling all aspects of Import Documentation into New Zealand
  • Handling transhipment enquiries
  • Monitoring container returns
  • Import cargo tracking
  • Generating reports & sending them to Ports/Government departments

In order to succeed, in addition to previous experience working in a shipping line, freight forwarder or Import company, you will be:

  • Confident learning new computer systems and internal procedures
  • Experienced in providing exceptional customer service over the phone and via email
  • An excellent communicator - both written and verbal
  • Friendly with a confident and professional telephone manner
  • Organised and detail-orientated
  • Technology literate with sound understanding of Microsoft suite, particularly Excel
