Commercial Manager

Winstone Aggregates is one of New Zealand’s largest aggregates company with more than 200 people working across the country. We are an operating unit of the Concrete Division – a recently formed sector within Fletcher Building. We are a constantly evolving business, with the recent acquisition of Higgins Aggregates ensuring we maintain a market leading position.

We are looking for a strategic, driven and innovative professional with a high level of commercial acumen to join our Winstone Aggregates team as Commercial Manager.  Reporting directly to the Cement Divisional CFO, your primary responsibility will be to provide expert financial and commercial support and financial insight to the business unit GM and leadership team. Lead, plan, direct and control the finance and commercial management function to ensure that it is accurate, timely and cost effective.  

To be successful in this role you will be a strong people leader and have proven senior finance leadership experience in a corporate or manufacturing focused environment. With a commercial mindset and an understanding of what drives business success, you will be comfortable with project analysis, high-level discussions around business strategy and commercial risk.  Exposure to JDE would also be preferable.
