This is a unique opportunity in the current job market that offers a rare chance to look at your career in the CA sector from a different angle.
We are looking for tertiary and CA qualified business services accountants at intermediate and senior level for one of out exclusive clients in Hamilton.
We have several opportunities within this high-performing organisation with increasing presence in the mid-market segment and international connections.
Our client requires the talents of accounting professionals with well-rounded technical skills and experience in all aspects of client accounting and tax compliance.
To be successful in this role you will need sound grounding in financial accounting (preparation of year-end financial statements) and tax compliance (preparation of various tax returns).
Experience with monthly management reporting, while advantageous, is not strictly required.
Our ideal candidate will be systems savvy and will thrive on new challenges and enjoy working with clients across a range of industry sectors.
Some of the key competencies, experience and attributes required for this role include:
- Solid technical experience in all aspects of client accounting, tax compliance and business advisory
- Strong interpersonal skills and previous NZ CA experience in a client-facing role
- Well-rounded systems skills and experience with various accounting software packages
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Positive can-do attitude and friendly, down-to-earth personality
