Job Description
A unique opportunity has come up for a junior facility and maintenance assistant to gain valuable experience under the mentorship of a professional Facilities Manager. Based on site with the client you will receive close guidance and training from our established team, helping you kick start your career in Facilities with Colliers.
Responsible for your own site with the opportunities to develop your portfolio you will be responsible for the operational smooth running of the buildings in your care.
- Be on hand to assist and consult with maintenance and building issues for your clients
- Assist in managing the relationship with service providers, including performance reviews in conjunction with the appropriate Colliers International Category Manager.
- Assist in managing the day to day relationship with tenants (from an operational perspective), including reviewing and approving tenant fit-outs (where applicable).
- Undertake formalised, documented inspections of the property.
- Provide input to the overall property budget identify opportunities to save costs, generate revenue and remain in-line with the client requirements.
- Develop and maintain all relevant documentation for all maintenance programmes, adopting standard procedures and tools to ensure transparency
- Manage risk and ensure WHS is of the highest priority to all clients and tenants.
- Provide quality service and uphold the highest level of standards in line with the Colliers brand and guidelines
Qualifications
We are looking for committed and mature young trades professionals who have recently completed a TAFE or equivalent course in a trade - preferably in the services industry. If you have an excellent customer manner and are looking for a long term lucrative career we can offer you the on the job training and guidance required.
