Legal Secretary | Newly created team

Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team specialising in liability and construction risk. This busy team of dynamic lawyers have a mixed practice of construction risk and liability.

This dynamic and progressive law firm has over 750 staff nationally and they are looking to add an experienced Legal Secretary to their every-growing and very successful team.  With a fantastic company culture, who truly value their employees and their development this is a fantastic opportunity to join a newly created Commercial Insurance team within business.

The day to day of a Legal Secretary: 

• Preparing and collating briefs to Counsel
• Liaising with medical experts and Barristers
• Drafting and preparing legal and court documents
• Diary management for partners
• General correspondence
• Client reporting and billings

  
Experience of a Legal Secretary: 

• Previous experience as a legal secretary
• Experience in defendant insurance litigation, professional indemnity or general liability
• Previous experience working in a mid-top tier law firm is essential
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Experience with iManage and Elite would be highly regarded but not essential
• Relevant qualifications would be advantageous
