The employer

Our client is a premier fully integrated boutique Melbourne law firm.  Advising across the full corporate spectrum our client has a reputation for providing outstanding legal expertise, offering clients a top-tier capability within a boutique environment.

The role
  
The Corporate department are frequently working at the heart of industries that are reshaping, restructuring and expanding into the world's emerging markets, providing market leading advice.  This role will focus on providing advice on venture capital and angel investment deals together with investment fund formation, venture capital compliance work and related advice.  It is envisaged that the successful applicant will also assist across M&A's and IPO's pending skillset.
 
Investment sectors will include IT, private equity, infrastructure, real estate and private debt.
  
To be successful you will need to have exceptional technical capability, legal expertise and clear communication skills, as well as show drive, curiosity, confidence and the ambition to develop a practice of your own, leveraging the firms existing client base.
