THE OPPORTUNITY

Your role will be to assess and evaluate customer's health and injury concerns and ensure they are directed to the most appropriate claims specialist team. Your in-depth knowledge of medical terminology, causation and symptomology will ensure your success in this role. We want you to be part of this exciting journey from the very beginning as we bring our world class workers compensation claims experience to life.

ABOUT YOU

  • You have previous experience within Allied Health or related industry
  • You are empathetic and passionate about providing great customer service
  • You work independently but also collaborate and share your experience and learnings
  • You have superior written and verbal communication skills
  • You can identify risks and gather further detail to predict their impact
  • You make decisions that are focused on successful outcomes and solutions for the injured worker and employer
  • You are analytical and have strong planning and organisational skills
  • You embrace change with confidence and are comfortable with working in a multi-system environment and have great attention to detail
  • You are adaptable and flexible and willing to contribute across the organisation
  • You have nursing, allied health or similar experience

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure optimal operational efficiency and customer satisfaction in the provision of Support Centre services
  • Assess worker injuries and triage to a claims segment that will deliver tailored services to meet specific customer needs, ensuring the injured worker is at the centre of the decision
  • Liaise with each stream and stakeholders across the organisation to ensure continuous improvement and optimal case management

Our Support Centre is open for customer enquiries and lodgement of claims between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday.  We also operate Saturdays between 8am and 5pm.  Successful candidates will be allocated shifts on a roster basis according to business needs.
